Course Descriptions and Objectives: Transportation economics is a discipline that applies the principles of economics to transportation issues. This course plans to cover transportation demand and elasticity, transportation cost, pricing, transportation policy and evaluation, etc. We will also discuss contemporary urban transportation issues including safety, congestion, and transit subsidy.
