論文研討(上)

The objective of this course is to develop graduate students with the capability to start a research project. Students are required to present the most recent literature selected from the field they interest. In addition, we will invite speakers to provide the state-of-art research and applications for students.

It is very important to participate in the class discuss. In general, we don't accept excuse for the absence, and each time accounts for minus two points from your overall performance. Three or more than three absences will cause a failure of the class. All students (except the presenter) are required to return a summary report (report template is as the attached Word document) at the end of the class. Each summary report is worth one point to the overall score. Also, we encourage student to ask questions or provide comments for the speaker. You will receive a bonus point to the overall score for each question or comment you asked in the class.
