概述
This course provides an introduction to the basic concepts and techniques of probability theory. Topics to be covered include probability space, conditioning and independence, random variables(discrete and continuous), probability distributions, expectations, moments, the law of large number, the central limit theorem, and Markov chains(if time permits).The basic concepts introduced in this course will be illustrated with examples.
