力學基本解和相關分析法

Fundamental solutions, also called Green’s functions, are everywhere, and we see them in our daily life a lot. While many Green’s functions can be directly applied to practice, others can be formulated in terms of the boundary-integral equations and other computational methods. The discretized form of the boundary-integral equation is known as the boundary element method (BEM). In this course, we will introduce the basic concepts of the fundamental solutions and various approaches for deriving these solutions. The closely related BEM will be presented in details with applications, whilst some associated (current) computational methods will be also introduced for possible future references.

Prerequisite: Graduate standing or consent of instructor
