This course is specially designed for international students who like to learn mandarin and also like to sing. The course will be conducted in the form of a topic and a song. One topic will take around 2 weeks to practice, and then a following week for a song. About 4 topics and 4 songs will be introduced throughout the semester. Those topics are either related to literature or news. You don't have to worry about whether you sing well or not. After taking this course, you can definitely go to KTV with your friends and enjoy singing there! Also, your accurate pronunciation and tones will make people impress! Students, at the end of this course, are expected to be able to: - talk about the type and the content of some songs. - describe the characteristics of one's favorite songs. - pick up vocabulary and grammar through topics and songs.
It is recommended that students who have finished [Chinese III] or [Conversation III] (and above) to take this course.
