This is a one-semester course in the theory of functions of a complex variable and its application for photonic major. We shall first learn fundamental theorems in complex analysis and then introduce applications of residues and conformal mapping. Complex function is the fundamental of electromagnetic wave, and We'll learn how difficult problems in real space might be solved on the complex plane.
Calculus and Differential Equation.
