概述
This course is designed to cover basic knowledge of bacteria, viruses, and fungi. It also highlights areas of microbial biotechnology currently capturing the interest of pharmaceutical, biotech and food industries, and poised to grow in importance over the next few years. The concepts of new drug and microbial drug discovery (probiotics and potential therapies) will also be covered.
