概述
This course aims to improve enrolled students’ ability to understand journalistic English; it is arranged as follows. Each meeting will start with a discussion on the grammar and vocabulary commonly used in English newspapers, followed by the practice of listening comprehension. In addition, enrolled students have to engage themselves in this class as much as possible by (i) reading a news article each week and (ii) making a presentation about a topic assigned to them.
