This course aims to lead students acquire advanced knowledge of stereochemistry about conformation, configuration and chirality and ability to grasp 3D space in brain. It includes not only molecules having one or two (or more) stereogenic center(s), but also those without stereogenic centers. Prochirality and the use of NMR spectroscopy in stereochemistry will also be discussed as well as stereoelectronic effects in structures and reactions.
