This advanced seminar explores recent breakthroughs in polymer synthesis with an emphasis on cutting-edge methodologies and functional materials. Topics include novel polymerization techniques, design of functional and stimuli-responsive polymers, and their applications in flexible electronics, organic solar cells, and next-generation materials. Students will critically examine recent literature, gaining foundational knowledge essential for independent research in modern polymer science. Through in-depth discussions, presentations, and written analyses, the course aims to cultivate creative thinking, technical understanding, and scientific writing skills. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to evaluate current trends, identify research opportunities, and articulate innovative ideas in the field of polymer synthesis and functional materials.
