概述

課程概述與目標 Course Overview: This course aims to help students develop valuable insights into cutting-edge biomedical research. Students will explore novel discoveries, emerging technologies, and their potential impact on healthcare through in-class presentations and discussions. The course will invite alums of NYCU and distinguished guest speakers from the academic and industrial communities to share their latest research/ industrial findings and provide full discussions on the future directions of biomedical research. Course Objectives: 1. Introduce students to the latest advancements in biomedical research. 2. Familiarize students with the research methodologies and techniques employed in the field. 3. Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through evaluating and discussing scientific research. 4. Encourage students to explore potential career paths in biomedical research. 5. Enhance students' understanding of the importance of interdisciplinary approaches.

先修科目

Prerequisites or Preparatory Skills (先修科目或先備能力) Basic knowledge of biology and biochemistry is recommended to understand the fundamental concepts discussed in the course. Familiarity with research methodologies and terminology will be beneficial for engaging in discussions and critically analyzing the presented research findings.
