概述
The goal of the class is to become familiar with some of the theory related to degenerate nonlinear elliptic and parabolic PDEs. We will focus on the p-Laplacian in the elliptic case, and on the porous medium equation in the parabolic case.
先修科目
Should have taken a Partial Differential Equations course. Should have a working knowledge of real analysis, functional analysis, Sobolev spaces, Holder spaces, etc.
